1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using Screenvod, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any of these terms, please do not use the service. We may update these terms periodically, and your continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We will notify you of significant changes via the email associated with your account.
2. Service Description
Screenvod is a productivity tool designed for teams to record their screen through a browser extension and share videos via link. Videos are stored in your personal cloud storage provider (Google Drive, OneDrive, or Dropbox) and are not stored on our servers. Screenvod stores only the metadata necessary for the platform to function.
3. User Account
To use Screenvod, you must authenticate with your Google, Microsoft, or Dropbox account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your access credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Do not share your account with third parties.
4. Plans and Usage Limits
Screenvod offers different plans with specific limits. The Free plan has restrictions on uploads per month, video duration, and number of private videos. The Starter plan offers expanded resources. Screenvod is a productivity tool designed for professional use within teams and companies. We reserve the right to contact and, if necessary, restrict the usage of any account that uses the platform in a manner inconsistent with this purpose or that disproportionately impacts the quality of the service for other users, including but not limited to use as a general-purpose streaming or video hosting platform.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Screenvod to: record, store, or share illegal, offensive, defamatory content, or content that violates the rights of others; attempt to access other users' accounts or data; use the service for purposes other than its intended use; or interfere with the operation of the platform. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
6. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights related to the Screenvod platform, including its code, design, and branding, belong exclusively to Screenvod. The content you create and store through the service remains your property. By using Screenvod, you do not receive any license or right over our intellectual property beyond what is necessary to use the service.
7. Data Storage and Processing
Recorded videos are stored directly in your personal storage provider. Screenvod stores only metadata necessary for the service to function, such as titles, descriptions, transcriptions, duration, and access links. The OAuth permissions requested by our integrations are limited to the minimum scope necessary: we only access data created by Screenvod itself within each storage provider, and we do not access your personal files.
8. Use of Artificial Intelligence
Screenvod may use artificial intelligence tools to automatically generate titles and descriptions from video transcriptions. This processing is done to improve your experience and save time. By using this feature, you acknowledge that the transcription content may be processed by third-party AI service providers solely for this purpose.
9. Limitation of Liability
Screenvod is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We are not liable for: loss or corruption of content stored in your cloud storage provider; temporary unavailability of the service; actions taken by your storage provider; or any indirect, consequential, or special damages arising from the use of the service.
10. Modifications and Discontinuation
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features of Screenvod at any time. We will notify you of significant changes through the email associated with your account. Continued use of the service after modifications constitutes acceptance of the changes.
11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. The courts of São Paulo/SP are elected as the exclusive forum for resolving any disputes arising from these terms, to the exclusion of any other, however privileged it may be.
